Juying Secondary School Band was officially created in 1995. The band started off as a military band with only about 20 members and slowly envolve into a symphonic band with the present strength of 130 dedicated members now.

Achievements
Awarded Grade Two in the Assessment of Concert Band for Secondary Schools in 1999.
Awarded Bronze in the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Concert Bands in 2001
Awarded Silver in SYF 2005 & 2007. Recently awarded Bronze in the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging the 6th April 2009, Monday.

Hi Bandsmen,

Hope you guys did well for your EOYE, we shall stop with everything and start to gear up for next year's SYF - yes, 2011 Singapore Youth Festival. GOLD. I want it, Shaid wants it, the whole band wants it, let's don't disappoint our faithful seniors that have been with us and stepped down not long ago, they contributed alot to the band, I'm sure, unless you're heartless :|, really sense the hard work that our dearest seniors have put in us - the whole band and want to make them proud. Without them, there won't be how we are today. Just put in our maximum hard work.
I know none of you guys will really get what i mean, or even, none of the band will really know the importance of this competition. If you want to be proud in this CCA, then prove it. If you want to have fun, prove it to us. Success doesn't come with hard work because behind every success, there's always going to be alot, alot of hard work that's being put in. I'm sure everyone will have alot of fun and bonding with the whole band through all these hardwork and journey in getting our Gold. Don't stop believing, no matter how discourage you are, just keep holding on, push each other, motivate each other. We'll get gold for 2011 SYF. We will make history. JIAYOU! This holiday and the early year of 2011 will be tough, but soon we'll see our hard work being paid off! :-)
